Have any of you ever had Angular cheilitis?

If so how did you get it to go away? I can not get it to heal and its been weeks. Thanks

In the winter months I get chapped lips and splitting in the corners of my mouth - I keep them as moist as possible to prevent further splitting.

I looked out on the web and they suggest:

In mild cases in teenagers and young children (only having chapped lips), encouraging them not to lick their lips and applying protective paraffin-based ointment (such as Vaseline) or lip balms to the lips is normally very effective.

For more severe angular cheilitis, depending on the cause, antifungal and antibiotic medication (e.g. topical miconazole oral gel that has dual activity), vitamins supplements.

Hope it heals up soon - is bothersome when you open your mouth and they split more and bleed. Come on summer.
